I Hate it Here (2024- Ongoing)
Is a visual exploration of surveillance and its role in racialized systems of domination It investigates how surveillance perceives Black bodies and controls their movement through public space. The project features a series of self-portraits which, by employing the direct gaze and indirect gaze in an attempt to “look back” at surveillance itself.
